Frequently Asked Questions
Everything homeowners ask us before booking. If your question isn't here, call (857) 358-9754 — we answer.
How long does carpet take to dry?
Most carpets are dry in about 8 hours. Our hot-water extraction pulls the vast majority of the moisture back out, so you're not left with a soaked floor. Fans and open windows speed it up further.
Are your solutions safe for pets and kids?
Yes. We use professional, non-toxic solutions and rinse everything out with hot water, so there's no sticky residue left behind for pets or crawling babies.
Do you give free estimates?
Yes — and you can get one by text or WhatsApp in about five minutes. Tell us the rooms, the fabric and the problem areas and we'll quote you a firm price before we ever come out.
Can you remove pet stains and odors?
In most cases, yes. Pet accidents soak into the backing and the pad, so we treat the spot with an enzyme solution before extracting. Severe, long-standing contamination sometimes needs pad replacement — we'll tell you honestly what we can and can't fix.
Do I need to move my furniture?
No. We move light furniture — sofas, chairs, coffee tables — and place protective blocks under the legs while the carpet dries. We just ask that you clear breakables and small items beforehand.
How often should carpets be professionally cleaned?
Every 12 to 18 months for a typical household, and every 6 to 12 months with pets, kids or allergies. Regular professional cleaning also protects the manufacturer warranty on most carpet.
What's the difference between steam cleaning and shampooing?
Shampooing works detergent into the fiber and leaves much of it behind, which attracts dirt and makes carpet re-soil faster. Hot-water extraction flushes the fiber and vacuums the solution back out — that's what we do.
Will cleaning damage my carpet?
No — the opposite. Embedded grit acts like sandpaper on the fibers every time you walk on it. Most manufacturers actually require professional cleaning to keep the warranty valid.
Do you clean apartments and rentals?
Yes. We work with homeowners, tenants, landlords and property managers, and can provide an itemized receipt for move-out documentation.
What payment do you take?
Cash, Zelle, Venmo and all major credit cards. Payment is due when the job is complete.
Do you work weekends?
Yes — seven days a week, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, which is usually when it's easiest to have us in the house.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Quincy and cover everything from Boston south — the South Shore and the South Coast — including Braintree, Weymouth, Milton, Hingham, Randolph, Canton, Dedham, Brookline, Newton, Brockton, Plymouth, Taunton and dozens more.
